Fernando has spent his career advising cross-border clients on their corporate transactions.  He is as comfortable advising a Colombian client in Spanish, a tech entrepreneur in English as he is ordering a café da manhã in his native Sao Paulo. Fernando brings a unique regional perspective to the practice of law. Fernando has law degrees from some of the best law schools in the world:  he graduated from Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo, Brazil and earned his Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the New York University.  Fernando is licensed to practice law both in Brazil and New York.

Prior to joining PAG, Fernando gained extensive experience in Miami as the in-house attorney for BDP International Inc., a global logistics company.  In this role, Fernando dealt with strategic issues involving the company’s far flung operations throughout Latin America.  Earlier in his career, Fernando was a senior associate with Miguel Neto Advogados in Sao Paulo, representing Brazilian and international clients on general corporate matters, cross border M&A transactions and commercial contracting.

Fernando also represented clients on capital market transactions involving Latin America, as an international associate with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York. Fernando brings a steady hand and a calm mind to come up with creative solutions for PAG’s corporate clients.
